Please let me know if anyone here has a strategy to resolve this other than taking my business to a different provider or stomaching the $40 extra per month (not going to happen out of principle). Moreover, T-Mobile's own advertising slogan, "The price we say is the price you pay" seems to promise that it should be honored. We cannot understand why T-Mobile would rather lose four customers in good standing (three of whom have been with T-Mobile for over fifteen years) than simply honor the offer that was agreed to on 5/27/17. The availability of SC customers to switch to ONE for this promotional rate was also implied by the marketing campaign on T-Mobile's own website. My husband confirmed multiple times with the representative who made our switch on 5/27/17 that we could transfer our existing 4 lines from our T-Mobile Simple Choice plan to the T-Mobile ONE plan for the $140 price. On 5/27/17, my husband, spoke with a customer service representative to take advantage of a Memorial Day promotion, the T-Mobile ONE Family Plan (4 lines for $140 if we signed up for autopay). After three tedious conversations with a customer service representative and his two extremely unhelpful superiors, we were swiftly transferred to the cancelation department, and before we could speak to anyone in that department, they hung up on us, and blocked my cell phone - reporting it as lost - rather than honoring the T-Mobile ONE Family Plan promotion we signed up for last month. When my husband and I called T-Mobile on 6/12/17 to check on a bill that seemed higher than expected, we discovered that the T-Mobile ONE Family plan we recently switched to was priced on our account as $180 for 4 lines instead of $140 for 4. However, on 6/12/17, we hit an impasse that, for the first time, has us in search of an alternate wireless provider. My family and I have been satisfied T-Mobile customers for as long as I can remember, so satisfied with our history of service that, after I got married, we persuaded my husband to join the T-Mobile family –and our long-standing Simple Choice family plan. r/tmoemployees: The sub for employees only Slow Data Speeds? - Read this to learn before you post!
